Festive 500 Day 2: Seeing the Alps

Getting up early before wife and two nano-seconds before cat, sunny and somewhat above zero. Great. Friend and bum-model Michi is appointed for 8:30. Dresscode: long, longer, long and long.

We are heading south to see the alps. On the first kilometers the view on the mountains in the morning sun is hidden by trees and a bum.

Here you go. That’s what we are riding for. Click on the bum to get a bigger picture.

We reach the town of Bad Tölz. Here we turn around to ride back to Munich. Now the mountains have a great view on two bike-bums.

Festive 500 Day 1: pedaling on olympic tire marks

Getting up early before wife and cat, sunny and around 5° Celsius. Great. Friend Michi is appointed for 8:30. Dresscode: long, long, long and long.

Snow melted down and warm winds are blowing over the alps, will become an easy first day of festive 500 for us two heroes MAMILs (middle aged men in lycra).

For six or seven days i will make pictures of friend Michis bum in documentary intention. Show us your face, please, last time for 500 kilometers.

Down to river Isar, from here to home this part of the track follows the course of the Cycling Individual Road Race of the Olympic Games Munich 1972.

1972 Hennie Kuiper won the gold medal. If we push ourselves we can win a espresso machine. Obviously more useful.
